Saltwater sits inside Parkway Bank Park, so the patios face the part of Rosemont that actually has something going on — the fountain, the string lights, people heading to a show. We open at four every day, which makes the patio a golden-hour room: hummus and spreads down the middle, oysters on ice, a cocktail while the evening starts.
Both patios are heated at the edges of the season and partly covered, so a cool evening or a passing shower doesn’t end dinner.

The Island Patio
Right on the front, under festival lighting, with heaters and furniture that moves. The people-watching patio, and the one that works for a standing reception.
Both patios are seasonal and close for the winter. From roughly November through March, the dining room, the Mediterranean Room, and the Island Creek bar carry the same menu indoors.
When to come
Four o’clock is the best seat.
We open at 4 PM every day, so the patio is at its best early — the light is low, the park hasn’t filled in, and happy hour is running at the bar Monday through Friday until six. Patio seating is first come, first served; if you want a guaranteed table, book the dining room and ask when you arrive.

Patio Questions
Is the patio open year-round?
No. Both patios are seasonal and close for the winter, roughly November through March. The full menu is served indoors all year.
Can I reserve a patio table?
Patio seating is first come, first served. Reservations are for the dining room — book one on OpenTable and ask about the patio when you arrive, and we will seat you outside if there is space.
Is the patio heated or covered?
Both. The Island Patio has heaters and festival lighting; the Garden Patio has covered zones. A cool evening or a passing shower does not end dinner.
Can we book a patio for a private party?
Yes — patio takeovers are available in season. The Garden Patio seats 40 and the Island Patio seats 28. Send the details through our events page and the team will come back within one business day.
Where do I park?
Free with validation in the garage next door. Valet runs weekends at the back door, and rideshare drops off on Bryn Mawr Avenue, steps from the entrance.
Is the patio dog friendly?
Please call us at (847) 233-0077 before you come — policies change with the season and the layout of the park, and we would rather tell you than have you turn around at the door.
